This was the word I have heard for 3 weeks now from everyone on it including myself. I did have to reroute the water lines so that the highest spray would get the water first. It is a little difficult to pick up, it really takes 3 people to do it. A side from that I would deffently recommend this water slide it's worth the money. Perfectly-sized to fit standard easels. Great for pencils, markers, paints, and crayons. Includes 50 sheets of 17 x 20 inch premium heavy weight white bond paper. Customer Review: Excellent Quality! I bought this for my daughter's 5th birthday and she absolutely loves it! She usually has an attention span of only 10-15 minutes and moves on to the next toy, but she'll sit and paint for two hours! My 2 year old son likes the chalkboard side. It is easy to assemble and easy to re-adjust the height for older or younger children. The frame is smooth, solid wood and very sturdy. The plastic trays and wing nuts are also good quality and seem like they will hold up well. I read some reviews before I bought it that the chalkboard was kind of hard to write on unless painted over with special chalkboard paint, but we haven't had any problems with that- the chalk that comes with it writes well and shows up clearly. I would definitely recommend the Melissa & Doug easel for children AND adults. It's that good! Publ.Date : Sat, 02 Aug 2008 21:56:02 GMT Wii Fit The active-play phenomenon started by Wii Sports now spreads to your whole body thanks to Wii Fit and the pressure-sensitive Wii Balance Board, which comes bundled with it. Used together players will experience an extensive array of fun, dynamic and surprisingly challenging activities, including aerobics, yoga, muscle stretches and balance oriented games. The focus of these activities is towards providing a "core" workout, a popular exercise method that emphasizes slower, controlled motions, but it's the fun approach to fitness of Wii Fit that will keep players hooked on fitness for years to come.
The primary tenet of Wii Fit is balance. Your center of balance, the point between your left and right sides when you stand upright, has a lot to do with your health. Those without an even center of balance will be unnaturally compensating for this imbalance, which causes their posture to become misaligned, increasing the possibility of putting unnecessary strain on their bodies. This is where the Wii Balance Board comes in.Similar in appearance to a step aerobics board, the Wii Balance Board is much, much more. Easily capable of supporting weights up to a maximum of 300 pounds, it is sturdy and precise, able to measure weight and register pressure accurately when placed on a variety of flat surfaces. This advanced level of sensitivity allows for both the wide range of activities found in the Wii Fit software as well as the board's amazing ability recognize individual players by their weight alone.Getting Started: Create a Profile Before you jump into doing exercises and activities, you'll start by creating a profile. This is done easily and intuitively by simply choosing a Mii, entering your height and age information, and doing a few quick tests that will serve as a baseline for your new Wii fitness regimen. These tests are:
Once you have created your profile it's time to have some fun. Wii Fit features four main categories of exercises to choose from: Strength Training, Aerobics, Yoga and Balance Games. Wii Fit will guide you through the first three with the help of your own virtual personal trainer, while the balance games offer variety and fun to help keep you engaged and excited about your fitness goals. In addition, as you spend time exercising, you'll earn Fit Credits that unlock additional exercises and activities within your favorite categories that will allow you to continue to push yourself. See more detail on the four categories below:
Because keeping fit is an ongoing process, Wii Fit also tracks the activities you do the most and puts them into your Favorites category. With this information players can note exercises and activities that they are strong in, as well as others that may need to improve at. Some of the ways players can use this information for are to:
Customer Review: I just have to wonder about the credibility Wii Fit was a birthday present. It weighed and measured me, told me my physical age after testing was 74. In 3 days I was 51. While this is great I do question my rapid weight loss on the Wii Fit. I attend Weight Watchers, have always eaten healthy but my metabolic rate leaves something to be desired...like one that burns! According to Wii, I am unbalanced in the balance games but am stellar in my balance when doing the Yoga. Pretty clumsy dancing because going off and on the board is difficult for whatever age I really am (mid 60's is a valid guess). So I need to know is this my true weight? Is Wii smarter than the doc's scale, the Weight Watcher Leader's scale and even my scale. I sure would like to believe it is. My posture in 3 days has really improved. The arthritic spine is not as painful and I START EVERY DAY WITH Wii and an enormous smile, often giggling as I slalom down the slopes, unbalanced, ride in a bubble down the river, dodging the sides - each time, improving. Wii stays here-the hardest part is for me to push all the right buttons on the TV when setting it up! THANK YOU Wii for helping me. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to get this final DVD as soon as possible and will watch it over and over because it is such a great series. But Firelord Ozi and Azula using fire to __________?!? I'm leaving out the action so as not to spoil the details, but those of you who know have to agree. Bending requires movements and motions that created the fire... but ______________________ simply required a stance and was a bit silly, IMHO. That said, I'm sad to see the series over. BTW - did you know there's going to be a live-action movie? =) Publ.Date : Sat, 02 Aug 2008 21:56:02 GMT The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones All those Saturday mornings ago, did you ever wonder what would happen if the Jetson family was jettisoned back in time? Or how Fred and Wilma would fare in the future? Well in 1987 the good folks at Hanna-Barbera put their heads together and came up with this animated answer. You might predict that boy-crazy Judy would get a crush on a prehistoric himbo or that Fred would elbow Barney out of the way to appear on the Joan Rivers Show. (Remember it was 1987.) But would you guess that Dino and Astro would become such pals? It all starts when a work-weary George agrees to pile the family into Elroy's time machine, never dreaming it will actually work. Landing outside Bedrock, the family is rescued by the prehistoric couples, who give them shelter in exchange for some high-tech help, as the fellows are having job troubles of their own. Long story short: Due to a technical glitch Fred and friends wind up in the Jetsons' futuristic home with Rosie the Robot and an angry Mr. Spacely, while the Jetson clan stages a Bedrock takeover. This 92-minute caper is suitable for any age. --Kimberly Heinrichs Customer Review: Classic My 5 yr old son can't get enough of this movie. He giggles and enjoys it right along with me. Our 15 year old learned how not to drive for her driver's license! It was challenging for new players and great excitement for the older folks.
